Tamadaba Climbing Crag

Tamadaba is one of the biggest and most varied climbing areas in Gran Canaria, with many sectors spread across a dramatic mountain setting and a route selection that ranges from easier mileage to very hard climbing. It is not the kind of crag you fully understand in a quick visit. The size of the area, the number of walls and the different styles available make it one of the island’s most important sport climbing destinations.

If you want to navigate Tamadaba with more confidence and better choices from the start, you can arrange local climbing support in Gran Canaria. That can be especially useful here because the area is extensive, the sectors are varied and good local judgement can save a lot of time while helping you pick the right wall for your level and goals.

Lomo Caraballo is one of the reference sectors in Tamadaba, with several walls and enough route variety to give a clear idea of how broad the area really is.
